About
Professional Background
I'm an investor at Radical Ventures, a multi-stage venture capital fund focused on artificial intelligence. My days are spent meeting founders building at the frontier of AI, evaluating new technologies, and thinking about where the world is headed.
Before joining Radical, I worked at Anthropic, where I focused on AI partnerships and helped bring AI capabilities to enterprises. That experience — seeing firsthand how powerful and general-purpose these systems are becoming — convinced me that AI would be the most important technology of our generation and that I wanted to spend my career at the intersection of AI and investing.
Before Anthropic, I studied engineering, which gave me a technical foundation that I draw on every day when evaluating deep-tech companies and understanding what's actually novel versus what's incremental.
What I Care About
A few themes that consistently animate my thinking:
AI and its implications. We're living through the most significant technological transition since the internet — possibly since electricity. I'm fascinated by how AI will reshape industries, labor markets, scientific research, and daily life. I try to think clearly about both the opportunities and the risks.
Venture capital as a craft. Great investing requires a blend of pattern recognition, independent thinking, and genuine curiosity about the future. I'm always refining how I evaluate founders, markets, and technologies.
Prediction and calibration. I believe strongly in making predictions explicit and tracking them honestly. If you're not willing to put a probability on your beliefs, you probably haven't thought about them carefully enough. My predictions page is my attempt to practice what I preach.
The power of reading widely. The best investors I know are voracious readers who draw connections across domains. I try to read broadly — history, science, philosophy, fiction — and not just technology and business.
Personal
Outside of work, you'll find me reading (always too many books at once), running, and exploring whatever city I'm in. I enjoy good coffee, long conversations, and the occasional prediction market bet.
